The B.media Product Manager allows Users to create and manage Products. Products and basic product information are usually created and updated by integrating with a business or ERP system. Access to product information is controlled by B.media's permissions system, and the product structure usually reflects high-level business requirements. Rich content, such as product specifications, sell sheets, demonstration videos, etc., may be created and maintained in B.media.

The Category Hierarchy in the Product Manager allows Users to set up a structure to classify Products. Users can create descriptive metadata Attributes for different Product Categories, which allows them to be inherited by Products and other sub-Categories contained within them. Linking Attributes to Categories allows Products to have metadata fields assigned to them that are different from other types of Products. For instance, Chairs may have descriptive metadata like SKU, Price, and Vendor that are common to all Products, but may also have Upholstery, Sitting Height, and Arm Style that they inherit by virtue of being contained within the "Chairs" category.

Associations allow Users to create relationships between Products and Assets, or Assets and other Assets. Users can define Association Types for different purposes such as kits, cross-sells, accessories, or for associating products and images for the web.
